My husband and I recently spent a 2 week tour of the Himalayan region in September 2017.  Our home base was Kathmandu and our guide, Paras.  From the beginning when he came to greet us at the airport we immediately felt comfortable with him and felt like he was one of our own friends and really enjoyed hanging out with him.  Not only does he speak excellent English and is very knowledgeable about his culture and heritage, he’s also very honest and trustworthy and very easy to get along with.  Not to mention that he is also an extremely committed social activist with various interests.  We spent many hours in social and political discourse which added a richer dimension to the trip. We also really appreciated his patience and flexibility in rearranging our daily itinerary if the need arose.  

We hope to come back someday and go to Mt Everest base camp and would definitely pick Paras again as our guide. Thank you for making it a memorable trip!

Paras did a wonderful job guiding around Kathmandu to see the world heritage sites. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us a veritable history lesson as he took us through these amazing historical wonders. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an educational exploration of this ancient city.

Before trekking to Everest Base Camp some our group decided to take a day tour of Kathmandu and boy we were not disappointed! Having traveled the world,  I have had my experience with good guides and not so good ones. Paras is definitely one of the great ones! His vast knowledge and enthusiasm of his heritage is evident. His sweet demeanor, patience, kindness and honesty about his homeland will keep you in enthralled in his storytelling all day. You won't be disappointed!
