Juan was the perfect guide for us.  Arriving after a week at sea level, we had some trouble with the altitude at Cotopaxi, but he was very thoughful and accommodating of our needs.  Rather than spend more time on the mountain, he found really nice alternatives for us.   He is very personable, and communicates well.  

After a Galapagos cruise my husband and I had a free day in Quito and wanted to see the Mindo Cloud Forset. We booked a  tour  with Juan Carlos because we wanted  more nature/adventure than the standard tours seemed to have. I'm sure the chocolate factory is fine but not how we wanted to spend our one day in the cloud forest.  With Juan Carlos we got exactly what we wanted; hiking, waterfalls, tubing on Rio Mindo, wildlife, beautiful flowers, and a friendly knowledgable guide. If we find ourselves in Quito again we will definately contact Juan Carlos for a tour.

My parents and I took a trip to Cajas with Wilson who was an excellent and highly knowledgeable guide.  His knowledge of the plant and animal life was very impressive and it was obvious that Wilson was passionate about sharing this knowledge about the park. He set a manageable pace and was an overall joy to spend the morning with.
