Bal was our guide  for the whole 4 days. He has a very pleasant personality, accommodating, and experienced in handling novice trekkers like us. 

Even with 6-7 hours daily walking journey, he made us feel comfortable and not as tiring . We will definately call him again for future visits. 

We spent 2 weeks with Bal Kumar trekking in the Annapurna Region last September. The weather was a little strenous due to all the stairs one need to climb up and down on the way  from Poon Hill to ABC, but Bal's smile was always with us. I felt an impression that he has a friend in every single village on the trail which results in staying in "his freind's" lodge every day. The traditional evening briefing was professional and useful for understanding how the next day will look like. Bal is always happy to arrange the itinerary to your schedule and needs. He can also arrange the pick up from the airport, hotel i Kathmandu, flight tickets including mountain flight or even safari in Chitwan National Park. In our case we arrived at the Pokhara airport 5 hours before our scheduled flight but instead of waiting Bal talked to the airline representatives who found seats on an earlier flight for us saving us a few hours of waiting in a hot and humid terminal.

I highly recommend Bal as a guide for everyone who not only want to see the mountain but would also like to fine a friend on the other side of the world, just like I did.
