I had the chance to do my first 14 - days  trek in Nepal with Dilu Rai from the GlacierFamily Trek & Expedition. It was a very great and unforgettable experience in the Pokhara area by climbing up to Nagi, Mohare Danda, Khopra Danda & Dobato. We were accompanied by Dilu Rai who is a wonderful experienced, efficient and pleasant guide, always caring about us, very helpful and friendly, having a large knowledge about local culture and plants, I felt completly safe and could fully relax and enjoy this trip. It was a real pleasure to trek every day with him and his kind team of guides and porters, all of them were so nice, peaceful and friendly. I would be very happy to recommand Dilu Rai and his team to everybody who is looking for a taylor made trek with correct and very reasonable prices. I met Dilu Rai 20 years ago. I made 11 treks with Dilu Rai as a guide,  large group, small group, with children and teenagers (6 to 19),  with elderly friends (60 to 75), in many different regions of Nepal, camping ou lodges, at low altitude or through high 5400m passes. Each time it has been a great experience. Dilu is a very good organizer, his porters team and assistants are always extremely helpful and kind. He is a very experienced guide.

One can express his whishes, when planning a trek. Concerning altitude, length of each leg, landscape you would prefer to be in (forests, mineral cliffs , villages and farms, lakes etc). Dilu will suggest you the best trek! Dilu Rai is also very concerned about safety and insurance for his team. The prices of treks are always very accurately estimated and very reasonable. I highly recommend Dilu Rai as a trekking and cultural guide.
