During our short stay in Moldova we had a half day tour to Orhei Vecchi and some other interesting places. We couldn´t have been guided better than by Oleg Grachila. In just a couple of hours we learned more about the country´s history, culture, language and political situation than we could read from any book, and everything in a relaxed way and in perfect English. It was an unforgettable day in a beautiful setting. The price was quite reasonable.

Traveling by yourself, once you are not in High school any more, can be challenging but finding a great tour guide that can both show you around and suggest interesting places to go to makes all the difference. I did a tour in Moldova and to Odessa with Oleg that I can only describe as an adventure and his input added to the experience. A great mix of sight seeing and just exploring. Having really enjoyed the experience I came back to Chisinau one year later and this time we went to Transylvania on a one week tour, which is great as Oleg speaks Romanian, Russian, Ukrainian on top English which I speak, But anyway I never realized all the sights and the history in Transylvania which now I have some insight into. Also just driving around the countryside which is beautiful and stopping in interesting restaurants trying out the local food which is also great and a surprise. Anyway cant say enough for Olegs part of being a tour guide, driver and some one to talk to along the way. It was a perfect mix of exploring and also time for my self. And although we followed a schedule there was still room for improvisation as needed. Thanks again Oleg
