What can I say about Surendra,from our first meeting at the airport until our departure three weeks later he was always smiling he was patient and kind ,flexible,his knowledge of his country and it’s customs was excellent he can tell a really good story and had a wonderful sense of humour we had so many interesting conversations with him and learnt so much about his country.

His driving skills are are admirable never once did he become impatient or take risks with our safety he was always calm and confident and we had complete trust in him.

Choosing a stranger to accompany you on a holiday is difficult it’s so important to get the right person if you choose Surendra I can promise you you will have made the right choice and like us I hope you will return to your own country having made a new friend.

Surendra's knowledge is extraordinary. You taught us about Buddhism, about local nature - flora and animals.

We wanted to see and meet 'real life' events . Surendra stoped when he saw a funeral ceremony, asked the family if we can take part in it. They welcomed us, it was so moving to see and take part in their farewell. 

We went to night ceremony in a temple where we saw Sri Lankan people worship. 

Surendra explained about couples being photographed on the morning's wedding, and the day after.
