I can recommend Tailah for your trips, he is very helpfull and nice. We spend 3 weeks in Indonesia and the time we spend on the trip made with Tailah was the best.

We aked him to organize our trip to Floating market in Bajnarmasin on our way from Surubaya. Tailah waited for us on the airport, and organized well priced taxi to our hotel. Next morning we used simple boat on our trip to Floating market - we appriate it, we had nice contact with the people there and we were there early enough to enjoy it. We even visited on of the floating houses.

After your experience we agreed a 3 day 2 night trip to Lokasado. We asked for track in jungle and overnight stay in Dayaks village. The price was very reasonable and Taliah was fantastic guide. 

We had to use machete to get throu the jungle and it was exactly what we asked for.  After 5 hours in the jungle we had a swim in nice a very clean river and in the dark we arrive to the village. When we came to Dayaks village the people were very nice to us, and we found out, that he knows the people for a long time, and we felt like a part of the family. In both places (we were in 2 villages) we slept in longhouse and we "chat" (more drik tea and laught) with local people for a long time. We had our son (9) with us, and he played with local kids with no problem (not much english on both sides, but it doesnt matter).

If you want to enjoy the time with locals and feel like a part of the family, ask Tailah to take to jungle in Loksado. You will enjoy even the jungle if you ask. Thank you Tailah for the trip. :-)

We had some wonderful experiences in and around Banjarmasin. Mister Tailah was a great guide, taking us to many different places. Everything went very smoorhete. He knows the local Dayak people well, so we really enjoyed our nights with them in the jungle! Definitly worth the recommendation.
