We based ourselves in Montepulciano in late September 2015. The proprietor of our small inn, when asked if she had any suggestions for how to best tour Siena, put us in touch with Chiara Fanti. Connecting with Chiara was among the best experiences of our two weeks in Italy. Chiara is warm and pleasant in addition to being a very knowlegeable tour guide. She speaks very good English in addition to other languages. Her tour was relaxing and fun. It wasn't a lecture. It was conversational as we walked the main streets, the back streets, the churches and the squares. Chiara made the history of Siena come alive with her stories and her passion for her work. If we're lucky enough to find ourselves in Siena again someday, we will re-connect with Chiara and continue our walk around Siena.

Chiara was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a good time touring Siena on foot.
