Lim Gim Seng did his very best to display for us the Penang that he loves so much. In the several hours that we spent with him touring the World Heritage Site of Georgetown, he took us to many of his favorite places, including the Wat Chayamangkalaram (where we saw the world's largest reclining Buddha), the gorgeous Dharmikarama Burnese Buddhist Temple, the Clan Jetties with the floating villages, and the historic Protestant and Jewish cemeteries. In his perfect English he shared his extensive knowledge about the history, geography and socio-economic characteristics of Penang.
