I travel for business with my boss all the time in different countries without any local tour guide. Our latest stop was in Beijing. I took a gamble by taking a tour guide for neither I nor my boss speaks Chinese, it felt more comforting to have a native people with us. We were grateful to have an interpreter, Terry, who really knew the city and was able to offer more than what we could have expected, to assist our business and guide us to the most famous attractions to enjoy the stay here. From great places to eat, some unique sites the common tourist tracks, we did not have a boring moment. Terry definitely made each minute of our trip worth the while. Probably we would have just stayed inside the hotel when we finished the work. Luckily we didn’t and our trip with Terry turn out that was definitely memorable. It was something that I would recommend to any traveler who might be going to visit Beijing.

My husband and I found Terry on TourHQ. We had only arrived to Beijing after a 14 hour flight and commenced the tour two hours later to visit Tiananmen Square and fascinating acrobatic Show . though tired, Terry managed to keep us interested and engaged. The next day, He met us at our hotel and took us on an Three days classic city tour combined with things that were 'off the beaten track'. He is knowledgeable, funny, dynamic and understood exactly what we wanted to see. It was great having a local guide to organize the tour and meal . Actually speaking English is not very common in Beijing, not everyone can speak English as fluent as he does. We visited the top four attractions such as forbidden city,Summer palace and temple of heaven leaving out the national theatre and supplementing with authentic local culture tour as the Hutong tour - amazing experience of common people’s life back to old days as well as Drum tower and 798 Art Zone- the gallery street showcase the astonishing Modern art...... This is our wonderful experience to see Beijing with Terry, I thoroughly recommend. Him to my friend and my colleague. Thank you so much for helping us to make a unforgettable trip. My wife and I had a full day tour on Jan 11, terry took us to the Great Wall and Forbidden City then, he was very knowledgeable for all of the highlights and his English was excellent ! We were very impressed with his travel service and would not hesitate to recommend to our friends and use him again.
