John is exactly what you would expect of a professional tour guide, and more. His extensive knowledge of Beijing’s history and culture is impressive, conveyed to us in fluent English. The itinerary was well-paced and thoughtfully planned. I highly recommend him.

Just had the best time doing a 2 day private tour of Beijing! Even though there were a lot of tourists due the dragon boat festival, with the expertise of my guide I was able to avoid the crowds and visit the places I wanted to see. Highly recommend!

John did a wonderful job of meeting my individual needs and goals. His ability to communicate in English is very good. If I return to Beijing, I will certainly hire him again. I also can recommend him to family and friends without any reservations.

Our family had an exceptional experience in Beijing, thanks in large part to our guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient, providing clear and detailed explanations at each site and thoughtfully answering all of our questions. His insights truly brought the history and culture to life, making the experience both engaging and meaningful. Traveling with young children can be challenging, but our guide was fantastic with them—kind, engaging, and very understanding. He also showed great flexibility when we needed to make a last-minute change to our final tour date, handling everything seamlessly. Overall, he made our trip memorable from start to finish, and we highly recommend him to anyone booking through TourHQ.

Terry was an excellent guide for the Terracotta Army sightseeing and exploring other places around the area. He was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and always attentive to our needs. He explained the history clearly and made the experience both interesting and enjoyable. His organization and friendly attitude made the whole trip smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend Terry to anyone visiting the Terracotta Army or traveling in the area.
