Steven is no doubt a very seasoned, knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. We appreciated his knowledge about Beijing and China. However, I personally find him speaks abit too fast and also he didn't really allow us to raise questions as we have not much of a chance to do so as he is the one keeps talking. He also does not allow us to have proper time to walk, view and appricate the 2 places of attractions...always seem to tell us we were slow and no time already.
Also, I am disappointed with the place he brought us for a quick lunch before heading to the Great Wall. He should have consulted us and obtained our agreement before bringing us there. The dumplings were fresh but other than that, the rest of the food was sucked and I saw them placing our unfinished food back to the tray for the other customers to have it!!! that's horrifying! We would rather grab some fast food instead!

re. too much to talk about. I should slow down to let you as me some question, it was my bad. I just tried to tell you more about the history. 2. did not allow you to have proper time to walk in the sites. First of all, We were in the Forbidden City from 9am-12am, which is about 3 hours. that would allow most people have an overview of the Forbidden City. Since Forbidden City is so huge, it would take a full day to visit. But, we will visit the Great Wall on the same day. that 3 hours would be the maximum time to leave to you to walk in the Forbidden City. Or we will be short of time to visit the Great Wall on the same day. There is like about 1.5-2 hours drive to the Great Wall. So, I apprize that I did push you a bit. since, we have another site to visit. 3. about the lunch. It was a buffet. I always take my other customers to this restaurant. All of them quite enjoy the food here. Maybe different people got a different standard of nice food. and I believe I did ask you about t Less
