We had the opportunity of receiving a tour with Dora. I highly recommend her as a guide. We toured the Acropolis and Slopes. She has the ability to bring to life through her description of ancient times and makes you feel like you are there thousands of years ago. It was incredible and we will never forget our time spent with her.

Dora is a true professional in every sense of the word. Admittedly, I have high standards. Dora surpassed my family’s expectations in every possible way. Her knowledge and insight is breathtaking. In addition, she has a genuine and warm soul. Hands down, Dora is, bar none, the best guide we have ever had the privilege to take a tour with.

Dora was an amazing instructor,  my friend and I are both educators,  she is a retired Administrator and I am a HS librarian.   Both of us are seniors as well.  Dora gave us the most comprehensive tour and we learned more in a day about Athens than we could ever read in a book!   She also considered our ages and ability levels and built in a mid morning break with a mini lecture, then made sure we were hydrated and when my friend wasn't sure she could make it to the top of the Acropolis,  gave her to confidence to finish!  We took pictures and she even took me to a place so I could buy an authentic bouzouki as a gift!   Please contact us so we can share our pictures with you Dora!
