Thanks Paras

Reviewed March 28, 2017

Paras was our tour guide on our trip to Nepal, our First but I hope not our last. We had our trip about a month of 5 before the big earthquake. Paras was a great guide, full of wisdom about local history and culture, always in a superb mood and with a lot of laughs, but still discreet enough to give us time for ourselves when we needed it. I am sure that thanks to Paras we have seen things that we would have missed with other guides. We have been also very impressed by Paras' social engagement.  Thanks a lot Paras, next trip to Nepal we will contact you.

This was our first trip to Nepal and we had a wonderful time, with Paras as our guide. He did an amazing job, patiently and  unfailingly meeting our last minute requests and absolutely made our journey a memorable one filled with laughter and warmth. We want to thank Paras and the driver for their excellent Nepalese hospitality.

A fabulous all-ladies reunion in kathmandu

Reviewed March 15, 2017

Five of us midlifers picked Kathmandu as the place to go for our long-planned holiday together. We have known each other all our lives but for a large part of our adult lives, we have lived in different countries and have vastly different lives. So our five days together was precious and I am glad we had Paras who made it even more memorable in all the best ways. He was friendly from the start and speaks English very fluently as he is a linguistics major. He is vey knowledgable in the history and culture of people and city. I could tell right away this was someone who is very passionate to live a meaningful life and inspire others to do the same. If there is one thing that stands out most about Paras as a tour guide, it is his attention to details. He listens, (even in those times when there were five boisterous ladies talking at the same time) he pays attention and he delivers - Coffee pick me ups in the mornings, need for more Nepalese rupees, a special souvenir at the last minute, frequent toilet breaks. He is professional, keeping promises times, doing daily morning pow wows to discuss and maybe make last minute modifications to itineraries. He is also very resourceful in comfort up with alternative suggestions and planed all our days well so that we maximized our time in Nepal as a group and as individuals. Paras also has mad talents. He's social work such as the Give A Book Day which he and his school mate founded that is celebrated on Valentine's every year to encourage reading. It is an achievement he can be proud of for the children and the future of the city.  Lastly, his singing voice.  If you do decide to work with Paras, see if he will treat you to a song as he did us.

Kathmandu reunion trip Feb 2017

Reviewed February 24, 2017

I went on a 5 day trip with my girlfriends and it was our first time in Nepal. Paras was an excellent guide.  He was knowledgeable,  passionate,  funny and most of very accommodating and patient with us. He really enhanced our Kathmandu experience and always went out of his way to ensure our comfort,  safety,  satisfaction and enjoyment on our short trip. He was always punctual and was indeed very patient when faced with 5 women determined to shop and haggle with every store owner to get the best deal possible.  I am delighted that we were able to visit Kathmandu with Paras as our guide.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to experience the best that Kathmandu has to offer.
