Eli was a fantastic tour guide who had some great background information. He knows all about Israel when it comes to Israel’s biblical and secular background. He took the group to unique places including underneath the Western Wall, a hike in an area that King David was and the Dead Sea. He’s very open to answering questions and has great background to share! He’s very kind and friendly, too. One of the best tour guides in all of Israel! I would highly recommend him. 

Eli has vast knowledge on history and facts and also a problem solver. Great to have him as a guide for 2 days. Thank you.

We had Eli as our guide for 2 day stay in Jerusalem. He went above and beyond to make our stay and experience a great one. Prior to our arrival, we went over sites of interest and general information we are interested in. As a result, Eli prepared a plan that was interesting and engaging for my husband and I, as well as our 10 and 8 year old daughters. In addition to being a great guide, extremely knowledgeable about history and religion, Eli also speaks Russian, English and Hebrew (our kids mostly speak English, while we prefer Russian). From picking us up from the airport in Tel Aviv, to bringing us to our hotel and helping us find great places to eat, to giving us an amazing view of Jerusalem and even taking us to Dead Sea, Eli truly made every effort for us to have great time. For his flexibility, patience (walking around all day with 10 and 8 year old kids is not that easy), knowledge of the history and ability to customize every step to fit our family, we highly recommend Eli! I had the distinct pleasure of touring Israel with my family. Much to our delight, we had Eli Gertner as our guide. For over a week Eli took great care of us providing the best tour of this fascinating country you can imagine...from the wall tour in Jerusalem, to Galilee, to Masada, to Dead Sea, to the Golan Heights. The best part was his passion for Israel and what it has to offer to the world. Eli had great communication skill, he understands the personality of his customers, I had a feeling that I send I week with a close friend who happened to be a great tour guide. Eli made sure that we not only learned about the history and saw the sights but also had an enjoyable time, he knows a lot of great places, including restaurants, shops. He is very entertaining and knowledge so that you never feel bored on his tour. He makes sure to put you, the customer first, and wants to make your stay in Israel the best that it can be.
