Muluye showed me around Lalibela and its churches at the beginning of March 2015. Muluye's English is faultless and his knowledge of the church's histories is excellent. He did not rush any part of the tour and he was very understanding and flexible when I wanted to reschedule the time of the tour. He also helped me run some errands in the town which helped make my stay in Lalibela incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Muluye is very friendly and kind, and the prices for his tour are very good value. I would definitely recommend Muluye as a guide for Lalibela!

Muluye is not only knowledgeable about the churches, he is very aware of the needs of seniors who desire to explore the sites. As a senior woman traveling solo, Muluye, with a great deal of patience and encouragement, helped me to reach two mountain tops to visit two monasteries. Whew! I made it. I feel like Super Woman.
