Our guide for one morning was Emad. We struck lucky! 

Emad is a qualified Egyptoligist which means his knowledge has few boundaries. I would advise not to consider visiting the temples and tombs without a guide and if Emad is available go with him if you can. He has a lovely way of telling the stories of Egyptian Kings and Queens amd made us laugh too. We are relative beginners to Egyptian history and he tailored the tour perfectly. His qualifications would make him a great guide for more advanced scholars too.

Emad arranged everything for us from pick up from our hotel and it went seamlessly. He has lots of advice about where to visit.

Wederom een super vakantie gehad in Luxor dankzij mijn gids Emad :). Ik had een lijst gemaakt van alle plaatsen die ik wou zien en we hebben ze allemaal kunnen bezoeken. Het blijft me verbazen hoe goed en intressant hij de geschiedenis kan vertellen, bij de meeste gidsen is er een gevaar dat ze de informatie brengen als een saaie lezing, bij Emad is dat NIET het geval, het blijft leuk en fascinerend. Ik had Half Pension in mijn Hotel, maar Emad toonde me de beste plaatsen in Luxor voor een heerlijke lunch voor weinig geld. Ik was ook verkouden geworden tijdens de vlucht naar Luxor, Emad stond direct voor me klaar om naar de apotheeker te gaan. Kortom een geode vriend en fantastische gids die voor je klaar staat, je kan geen betere vinden. :)

It was the second time we were out with Emad It was unknown, but our guide has learned us a lot. Not only the temples also his country. We've seen a lot and never bored.
