I think I may have been Sushant's first paying guest. In 2009, I was on my first visit to Nepal. Although my friends and I thought we did not want a guide, 11 year old (at that time) Sushant and his friend Tej managed to change our minds. We were blown away by their knowlege, candor and insights even at that early age. Their command of the english language was remarkable and they also spoke some Spanish. The most amazing thing though, was the sincere enthusiasm they had to share the history of their country, and specifiacally Bhaktapur with visitors. And also they were FUN. Sushant told me then that it was his ambition to be a guide, and in the time I have known him he has never waivered from that wish. The love and pride he has for his country and his city is inpiring. In the years since then, I have brought dozens of friends to Bhaktapur to tour with Sushant, and I am always happy to have another chance to tour with him. He teases me that I should be able to lead the tour myself by now, but every time I go, I learn some thing new.  I am proud that he continues to study and that he has complete the Certification to become a licensed tour guide. He has also picked up a bit of the Chinese language over the years. During my time in Nepal, I have met many, many guides, but when I go to Bhaktapur, he is the only one I want.

Suchant (Jaki) is responsive on WhatsApp. He is knowledgeable about the history of the architecture, the city and singing bowl! We had a great time in Bhatkpur!

We went to Baktapur to visit the famous Durbar Square. On the front of the main door was standing Sushant (Jacky for the relatives) which was asking if we needed a guide to visit the town on this special day of Bisket Jatra. He showed us the main monument with a lot of explenation about history, architecture. Sushant is really knowledgeable and will bring you to special healing bowl shop, mandala shop and traditional place  ! I would recommend to choose him 100 %. I even came back with someone else there and ask him to guide us once again.

I was recently in Bhaktapur and was lucky enough to take a tour with Sushant Jakibanjar ("Jaki"). Jaki is a very intelligent person who explained the history of Bhaktapur in great detail. Any questions that I had he was happy to answer and had a extensive knowledge of the city, the Newari culture and Nepal. Jaki was easy to be with and his English is amazing! I would strongly recommend a tour with Jaki to everyone!
