Climb was made possible and much more enjoyable with Dennis' help!!

Dennis and the Rare team were excellent. Definitely could not have gotten to the top without their superb organization skills, professionalism, passion, and support!

I climbed Mt kilimanjaro in February with G adventures and Denis was one of the guides. I had the most amazing experience with G adventures and have been recommending them to everyone. Dennis was a valuable member of the team who was an informative and encouraging guide. Dennis went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience I could have. He was extremely helpful on the summit night and was encouraging to make sure I was able to make it to the top!!  Dennis was friendly, kind and fun along the way to the top. He was singing and dancing along the way and felt like a friend rather than a guide. I was a solo traveler so it was great to feel welcomed and have a friend along the way. Dennis is very professional and excels at his job as a guide. Thankyou Dennis for an amazing experience that I will never forget. Your skills are a valuable part of the Mt Kilimanjaro trekking team. 

I climbed Kilimanjaro in September 2015, and Dennis was an amazing guide. His leadership skills amongst the other members of my group, as well as co-ordinating the other porters to make the journey to the summit as easy and trouble-free as could be, as well as offering encouraging words of advice and information about the area and environment. I never made it to the summit due to altitude sickness, but will be coming back to try again, and I know i'd want Dennis by my side when I go back for more!

I climbed Kilimanjaro in February / March 2016 with G Adventures and Dennis was one of the guides. He was an amazing presence throughout the whole trip. He knew the mountain so well, and  always had really good insights as we moved along which facilitated things. It was so nice to have him explaining the obstacles we were up against in real time, as we moved along. Dennis also has a really effective low-key way of communicating. He was so encouraging, but knew when to push us, and helped everyone in my group reach the top. He is a class act. Kilimanjaro was an unforgettable experience and I feel fortunate to have had a guide as experienced and knowledgeable as him along the way.
