I had the opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro with Denis in December 2021, it was one of the most amazing experience of my life.

Mainly because Denis is an incredible guide, so full of resources, kind, friendly, helpful and always smiling !

I recommend Denis as a guide 10000 times ! 

We made it to the top of Kilimanjaro without any issue thanks to his professionalism.

Without him I would have given up  !! He was so kind and so nice for the full treck, especially during  the summit day.  He was sure that I could reach the top and he was right

Dennis is a great guide and after my Lemosho hike is a great friend of mine. 

I was hiking with 10 random people from another culture. And our mindsets weren't fitting hundred percent as I was the only woman and the only non-Swahili at my hike. He handled the situation very well. We completed the hike safely and in peace :) 

Also, the summit day I was having a slight hypothermia shock, as at first I felt warm and reduced a layer, then my sweat was frozen on me and I was shaking erratically. Dennis helped me to add another layer of clothes and zipped me up as my fingers wasn't working at all. And we continued to hike to keep me warm. We did the Kilimanjaro summit from basecamp in a record time like 5 hours 10 minutes. I think we both won't forget that day for the rest of our lives! It is a great memory for both of us. 

Every night at Kilimanjaro he did a briefing about the next days. It was very informative, he knows the every endemic species in Kilimanjaro National Park. Thanks to him I have seen a blue monkey, Kilimanjaro Senecio and many other unique plants and animals around there. 

I had limited time there and after the Kilimanjaro hike I went away, but I am looking forward to be back there and do Mt.Meru with him in a more athlete level (without porters). He said it is possible if it is arranged with the national park. 

My trip to Tanzania started OK with a large group of us (from England) climbing Kilimanjaro.  Unfortunately, after four days of being poorly, I had to  descend and head back to Moshi while the other 12 carried on.Dennis and two other porters were with me on the mammoth 8 hour trek down which was over some challenging terrain.  I have to hand it to these guys, they looked after me all the way, picking me up when I was down both mentally and physically!So, I had three days before the rest of the group returned - they all summited by the way - and before my safari.  In that time Dennis organised a couple of days out for me, Chemka Hot Springs, Coffee Plantation and Materuni Waterfalls both of which he was with me and I briefly met his wife and two daughters who were lovely.Dennis is a cheeky chappie with a fun sense of humour, is fun , friendly, very knowledgeable and has an excellent command of English and I thoroughly recommend him as a guide to anybody visiting Tanzania.We have stayed in touch and I am happy to call him a friend.

Dennis is a very good guide. He made sure our days at the Kilimanjaro were amazing. He was always very helpful and looking out for us. He looked out for possible symptoms of altitude sickness and had a lot of knowledge about the different symptoms, which made us feel more safe and comfortable.
