Incredible

Dennis was a wonderful guide to our group this summer, cannot fault him (or his dabbing skills). He was always there to motivate us, especially on summit night, and I can't imagine our expedition without him.

Brilliant guide!

Dennis was a truly brilliant guide, who helped 28 of us along the Machine route over 6 days. He made every effort to make sure everyone was feeling okay, had everything they needed and never failed to make us laugh and smile! Dennis dealt with any questions and concerns we had in a really friendly and respectful manner and provide us with lots of interesting facts about Kilimanjaro and the local culture. Would definitely recommend climbing with him as your guide!

Excellent Kilimanjaro guide

My husband and I were very fortunate to have Dennis as part of our group on a climb of Kilimanjaro in January 2017.  He was always patient and calm, especially with the slower hikers like me.  I shall long remember him singing on the final ascent in the dark, which kept us going all the way to the top.   I thoroughly recommend him as a guide.

If Dennis was not by my side to encourage me to continue and help me through maneuvering through the terrain I would not have had such a good experience. Every guide should be like a Dennis and if you are a climber, I encourage you to be on this team!

The best guide for Kilimanjaro

Reviewed May 18, 2017

Dennis (Denny) was very knowledge about the local  environment  and was constantly pointing out plants and wildlife whilst walking steadily uphill on the Umbewe route. We took acclimatization seriously and walked at a slow but steady pace and each night measured both pulse and oxygen levels.

We progressed on the Western Breach route where Dennis showed his mettle in the early hours as we passed the “point of no return” and the effect of altitude took hold. Arriving on the plateau to brilliant, bright sunshine looking over to Arrow glacier and upwards to the summit was a unforgettable experience.

Denny’s excellent guiding skills got us up and over the summit and down to Barafo campsite for hot chocolate and biscuits. I would have no hesitation in recommending Denny to any aspiring Kiliminjaro climbers!
