Climbing Africa's highest free-standing mountain, Kilimanjaro, really was a once in a lifetime adventure for me and my friends! It was such a wonder and an all-round awe-inspiring trip! I'm incredibly grateful to have been guided by a team of the very best guides and porters! Everyone was such a great pleasure to trek with and always helped us when in need! Several years ago I was fortunate enough to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with Dennis Shayo, a local Tanzanian guide. His expertise, knowledge, and level of fitness infused our group with confidence and he made the experience memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. When one of our members had issues with the altitude, Dennis's reaction was swift, organizing the clients evacuation to a lower altitude, the outcome which proved positive to the gentleman's swift recovery.
