Jakes is an excellent guide. He was funny, friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the country. He was always available when you needed him. I couldn't imagine a better guide for our tour in South Africa! 

Jakes is an excellent and very professional guide with a great sense of humor, what connects the group ( trip to South - Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland) Gives the right infirmation at the right place and is very friendly. When there are problems, he stays calm and has a great talent for organisation.  In one word Awesome!! 

Jakes was a wonderful guide.  He was very friendly,   patient,  knowledgable, experienced, and fun to be with for 10 days.  He looked after us enough to make us feel safe in what we were doing.  We particularly liked his insights to the history of South Africa and his thoughts of the future.  He truely loves his country.  We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Jakes was an absolute wonderful tour manager, patient,  knowledgeable, comical,  very resourceful , and thorough. We were so fortunate to have someone who truly has a love for his country and his showing visitors the heart of soul of  it. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting South Africa and Zimbabwe.   He has a wonderful personality in which we saw a little more as each day passed.   He was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. 

Jacob (in Afrikaans) was our guide during our 2 weeks trip from Cape Town via Krugerpark to Johannesburg. Jacob proved to be a very experienced guide. He could answer all our questions about the scenery, culture and history of South Africa. He is also entertaining and humerous and very able to make changes in the programme when circumstances demand. We would travel another time with him right away!
