Super guide! Jakes is a very professional guide. He told us a lot about all aspects of the country and he knew very good how to deal with all the different persons and wishes in the group. Always with humor and serieus if necessary. Marianne

Jakes is one of the best guides we ever met. With more than 20 years experience, he can explain all the details about the nature, culture and history of South Africa. He is a very enthusiastic storyteller. With Jake as your guide your stay in SA becomes  an enriching experience. Apart from this, his  other strength is  generating options or alternatives upon request from  the group (16 persons). Wit a lot of humor he kept the group in a good mood. We toured South Africa for 18 days with a group of 15 travelers, and Jakes was a terrific leader and guide for our group. He is friendly, kind and willing to go "above and beyond" what is required of him.  Jakes did a good job of keeping us on track, giving directions clearly, and organizing all the details to make everything easy and comfortable for everyone throughout our busy itinerary. He provided a great deal of interesting information, and kept us laughing with his genuine sense of humor.  He also kept us safe by checking what was happening along our route in real-time!
