Best service - best sights :) Thanks

This was our 7th trip as tourists to India and our first visit to Assam. We travelled for one week and had the great pleasure of having Pulak(esh) Talukdar as our guide during our entire visit to Assam. 

Pulak is without a doubt the best guide which we have had during all our trips. Pulak is very knowledgeable about Assam and the other states in North East India whether it is culture, religion, fauna, flora or other matters. He is very friendly, proactive, discrete, timely and does not go on forever on subjects unless you ask him to.  His English is good, he worked very well with the driver and he has a great laugh. 

What sets Pulak apart are two things: He understands his guest needs very well and will go the extra mile to accomodate the needs. Eg. rather than seeing another temple, we preferred to meet local people, visit local workshops or visit local markets. He he quickly found out where to go and he also prioritized very well among several options. The second thing is Pulak's ability to talk to the locals and create the trust that will open their doors or simply get a good conversation going so you can hear about their lives, skills, etc. We had  many very unique and memorable experiences due to Pulak.

We will return to NE India in the next year or so because Pulak has opened our eyes wide up for this special area of the world, and we will  make sure to travel at a time where Pulak is avaliable to be our guide. 

We are an Israeli couple. Traveled for 16 marvelous days in North-East India with Mr. Talukdar.

Mr. Talukdar planned the itinerary with perfect match to our preferences which were not always common.

We asked him for an off route trip and we can say for sure that Mr. Talukdar had succeeded much more than our highest expectations. 

Any request from our side at all time 24/7  was immediately fulfilled with a smile and a sincere will to give us no less than the best - meals,  accomodations etc 

Over than all is his endless knowledge about everything - wild life, history, culture etc.

His phenomenal organizing skills helped us a lot, and saved us time in beaurocraticsl issues and change in plan which we requested once.

It is important for us to mention that we travel a lot in a similar way and had never so far experienced such an enjoyable trip, and that is of course thanks to Mr. Talukdar.

Pulakesh was fantastic , dealing with a family of 10 and intermittent weather conditions 

We spent nine days exploring eastern Assam with Pulakesh. We travelled eastwards from Dibrugahr almost to the border with Myanmar before turning westwards to Guwahati via Majuli Island and Kaziranga National Park. Our programme was very varied taking in wildlife, birds, industrial archaeology (our choice), local textile production, and religious sites. Throughout Pulakesh was an exemplary, well organised, caring and well informed guide. He showed us how to best experience what was on offer as well as responding creatively suit our individual interests. Most importantly, he was a great travelling companion whose company were really enjoyed.  We  are very happy to recommend him wholeheartedly.
