Fun trip across Georgia!

Reviewed June 11, 2022

Zurab was very good company while he brought us around his beautiful country of Georgia. He always went out of his way to make sure we were safe and enjoying the trip. We had a great time because of his humour and his wine. It was an amazing week spent in Georgia thanks to Zurab!

Best guide in Georgia

Reviewed November 7, 2019

We've had couple guides during our trip in Georgia, but none were as rememberable as our trip with Zura. We actually messaged him kind of last minute but it was no problem for him, he showed us some nice things around, good food and drinks. We saw traditional wine making and what life in Kutaisi is like. Most guides talk alot about the history and places etc. Its nice to have a guide that goes for a different approach, thanks for a wonderfull day! Greetings from Holland, Gijs and Pascalle.

Our trip to Kutaisi

Zurab is a medical doctor, who is now running a tourist guide business.  He has a small family guesthouse in the city and he also has rental cars available.   It is really a pleasure to travel around the countryside with this well educated young man.  He showed us all the 'must see' places and a few completely 'off the beaten track' venues that were great to visit.

We spent a delightful evening with Zurab at his parents house on the river bank.  His father made barbeque and I had a horn of wine with him, using real cow horns from his grand father and enjoying their own home made wine.  Although I could not converse with his father at all, since I don't know a word Georgian or Russian, once the wine is flowing, that doesn't matter anymore! An experienced, flexible and versatile guide!

Reviewed July 10, 2018

We were looking for a guide who could help us personalize a unique Itinerary, as well as be flexible to change things up on the day as we went along. That's exaclty what we got! Zurab was happy to adjust our Itinerary based on thing we wanted to do as well as things he could reccommend. This led to us visiting a museum and home winery, way off the tourist trail, that no tourist would find on their own. It was essentially someone's private house and collection. No signposts. Just someones house. Amazing! We also loved that Zurab can build an Itinerary and price for you, or charge by the hour and KM (mile), so you have 100% flexibility. Most other guides in the region we spoke to were set on giving us one of their fixed itinerarys to tourist spots, so we were very happy we found this service instead. We highly reccommend this guide, he responds very quickly too. Zura also has a small family guesthouse in the city you can ask him about.
