It was my first time treking in Nepal. I sometimes go hiking in my home country, Hong Kong, but treking in Renjo Pass was not easy to me. With the guide’s aid and reminder, I had no problem to complete the whole trek. Besides, I enjoyed the trek so much, because the guide gave me confidence and answered what I was worried and concerned, e.g. how difficult would it be in the coming few days? When would we have lunch? How would our today guest house be looked like? Could we have hot bath tonight? And so on. The guide told us in detail, so that we could have better mental preparation to handle everyday challege. Besides, the guide was generous to tell me lots of things abt Nepal apart from mountain, e.g. I was interested in Nepalese culture, religion, politics, and social aspects. The guide definitely knew all of them and he was so patient to share me whenever we had time during the trip. I certainly would come back again and ask the guide to plan for me in the next trek in Nepal. This time, I may try to visit the mountain in Spring and appreciate beautiful flowers blooming.

I cannot recommend Lamauhalf highly enough.  An incredibly friendly, helpful and insightful guide Lamauhalf is the perfect companion for anyone wanting to visit Nepal.  I have had the pleasure of knowing U half for a number of years and am proud to call him a mate.
