My wife and I are just back from our trip to Sri Lanka. Having travelled on group tours to Vietnam and Cambodia in the past we decided to book a driver for ourselves this time. We thought we were taking a bit of a risk and really didn't know what to expect when we booked Dilhan on the internet and I have to admit that we were greatly relieved when he greeted us at the airport. He soon put us at ease with his friendly banter and his welcoming smile. He dropped us to our hotel and arranged a time to pick us up the next morning and he arrived fifteen minutes before pick up ( a good start).  His good timekeeping continued throughout our trip and at no stage were we left waiting. He also kept in constant touch with us by text making sure we were okay. His knowledge of his beautiful country is unrivalled. His driving on very dodgy roads was very safe. He organised hotels for us,  if he asked for advice, and at no time did he push his opinions upon us. His advise was invaluable and we believe he saved us a lot of time and indeed money on several occasions. This is a beautiful country with stunning countryside and miles of golden beaches. The people are friendly and welcoming. Sri Lanka is  famous for its gemstones and in Dilhan we found a real diamond. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Wow, what an adventure! We chose to book Dilhan as our guide for our holiday to Sri Lanka as he had great reviews and his response to my initial contact email was so friendly and knowledgable. We received first class service from start to finish, Dilhan really looked after us throughout the trip and did his utmost to ensure that we had a good time. He went above and beyond to make sure that each day was as perfect as he could possibly make it. I will definitely be recommending him to family and friends. 

The entire tour of 4 days was well planned by the team and we could visit maximum places. The driver was very friendly. I strongly recommend Dilhan for all tour requirements at  Srilanka. 

Excellent day tour with our guide Merrill and his lovely driver. Picked up outside the port gate (this is always a bit tricky to find the right port gate. Might be better to say under the white mosque or something). They were very keen to show us everything and Merrill even paid for our platform tickets when we wanted to look at the railway station. The driver very kindly bought us coconut milk when we started to wilt in the heat! The trip lasted much longer than the 5 hours I expected. If I could suggest that you ask your customers how much shopping they would like as Europeans in particular dont like being obliged to visit artisan shops! We had a great trip and the price was very good considering we were a couple and had a large air conditioned van to ourselves. Definitely recommend.

I wanted to spend 8 days in Sri Lanka but didn't have time to do a lot of prior research.   Dilhan came up with a perfect itinerary -- a wonderful mix of historic, religious and nature sites, as well as culture and entertainment.   He recommended hotels that perfectly suited my budget and needs.  Everything he planned was terrific:  Stunning temples, a spectacular train ride through tea plantations, a safari replete with elephants to crocodiles, gorgeous beaches, bustling markets, colonial architecture, interesting dance performances.   I loved my driver/guide, Pradeep, and highly recommend him.  Utterly charming and patient personality -- definitely someone you will want to spend eight days (or more) with in the car -- excellent driver, helpful suggestions and spot-on advice, and very knowledgeable about current and past Sri Lankan history,    Patiently answered all of my questions -- about everything from Buddhism to the recent conflict with the Tamil fighters.    He kept me on schedule but was able to be flexible when I wanted to spend more (or less) time at some places.   And their fee was very reasonable -- actually, an incredible bargain.   I highly recommend Dilhan and Pradeep -- it really was an awesome adventure!
