We (4 people) have spent with Alex almost 3 weeks in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras.  This trip was tailored made by Alex based on our wishes and requirements. We have some idea what to visit and see, but Alex share with us his knowledge and experience and we have build together trip which was very well balance. It was great combination of ancient history (aztec,mayan, etc) with colonial history , nature sightseeing  (cave, lakes, boat trips),  tasting loval meals  and possibility to know how people actually lives in middle America. Alex proved himself not only as very experience person with lot of knowledge, he was great tour guide and very reliable, friendly and service minded person.  Great Thnx to Alex !!! Highest recommendation to other who are trying to find soemeone who can can show them America.

We as group of 4 went with Alex for 2 weeks travelling seeing Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Real de Catorce, Xilitla, Mineral del Monte, Puebla, Huautla de Jimenez. We also had the chance of attending some spiritual ceremonies which we all loved.  Alex is also a good driver and his car was extremely comfortable. I can wholeheartedly recommend him as a trustworthy and very knowledgeable guide whom we also had a lot of fun with!  Hope to be back soon for some more.  Jack 

We (a group of 5 Swiss architects) did a full-day private tour from Palenque to San Cristobal visiting Tonina archeological site, Misol-Ha and Agua Azul waterfalls with Alexander. The customized tour was excellent! Not only did Alex bring us to non-touristic “special” places (a magnificent waterfall without tourists) but we could also ask him any questions we had about the Mayas, their architecture and language but also about the political situation and the culture in Mexico. Alex has an enourmous knowledge about Mexico and it’s history. The tour was also very well organized. Highly recommended!

We had a great 5 day long roadtrip with Alex. 

He picked us up from the Bus station in Tuxtla and drove us all the way to Playa de Carmen. He perfectly organised the whole trip for us. In his car was enough space for six people and he is a fantastic driver.

He booked nice hotels in advance and he always found the most delicious restaurants along the road.

On the way we took a boat trip in a canyon (even saw crocodiles), have seen chicken getting sacrificed in a christian church, went to hidden caves, visited several pyramides and temples, saw haciendas and of course enjoyed nice evenings in San Cristobal, Palenque and Campeche.

He knew the locals and showed us places you would never find as a normal turist.

Alex speaks russian, spanish, english.....and some danish now!!! ;-)

He is an expert in the history about the Maya. Finally we understood how the Maya played there weired ballgame!
