It is my pleasure to recommend Maher Edwards, who was kind enough to drive us around CapeTown and to the Aquila Safari on South St, Touws River. Maher went out of his way and put a lot of thought and effort to make my travel for my 2 months in Cape Town very comfortable. He has a combination of a positive attitude, knowledge about local surroundings and the ability to sense the group morale and that is rare to come by, but also essential to pursuing a career in travel. I am confident that he will continue to equally warm and welcoming to any other individual orgroup of visitors to Cape Town because I’ve personally experience his commitment and diligence in everything he does. 

I had only one day in Capetown and wanted to see as much as possible so I asked Maher to do a custom tour to fit in the main sights. I was alone and felt very safe and comfortable with Maher, he has a lot of knowledge on the flora, fauna and all the sites. We drove along a beautiful panoramic tour, visited the small fisherman villages, went to see the African penguins, went to the Cape of Good Hope, up to the Table Mountain and had an amazing sunset viewing. We managed a lot in one day thanks to Maher's great planning skills and short cuts! I would highly recommend him as a guide. 

One of a kind driver. One if the nicest and most sincere people I've ever met.  Driving and ability to navigate Cape Town are unparalleled. 

Maher was fantastic! We did safari and abseiling with him and he was very engaging on the tour!! He knows South Africa very well more than any other guide! On our way to safari, we stopped in different places that we would never know about if Maher wasn't our guide! With him, you will get to explore the real Cape Town. He was very informative and at the same time made it entertaining for all of us. Safaris, museums, markets and mountains have each offered my friends and me a delightful taste of Cape Town, but a tour with Maher is a full course meal.

On our drive to the Aquila Safari reserve, Mr. Edwards intertwined his personal pre- and post-Apartheid experiences with the landmarks, farms, people and natural wonders that we crossed along the journey; he’s a natural storyteller and willing to go beyond our expectations to paint a rich and meaningful perspective of the country. We stopped for fresh grapes, jumped into the river along the road and made scenic detours. Mr. Edwards made our trip incredibly memorable - one of my favorite experiences during my stay in Cape Town.
