Carlos was extremely informative. We went on a bird watching hike in Monteverde, and we spent an amazing 3 hours in the park. Carlos was extremely patient to answer all our questions and pointed to us various kinds of birds, where to find them etc. We sometimes spent 15 minutes in taking a picture of a rare bird. The zipline in the afternoon was also quite fun that I'd definintely recommend. Carlos also made some recommendations for the rest of our itinerary in Costa Rica.

Our family has traveled to Costa Rica, with Carlos, five times in the past six years. We are already schedule to be with him again in March 2015. His passion for his country, its wildlife, its culture, its people, and life in general, quickly made him a member of our family, as we became members of his. From the time we are picked up at the airport, every detail is taken care of; meals. lodging. recreation, tours, and health insurance. Safety is his priority, followed closely by fun, adventure, laughs and learning. He loves his country from deep in his soul. He will frequently see something seemingly as simple as a bird in flight, and you will hear him softly say, "Precioso"! Everyone we have referred to Carlos says we were absolutely correct. I don't know where to start. Carlos was by far the most interactive and informative tour guide that I have ever had the pleasure of travelling with. Carlos Put together an amazing trip for my girlfriend and I, he took us to places in Costa Rica we would probably never see if we went by ourselves or with a tour company. Anytime we had questions about Costa Rica, its wildlife, its history, or its culture Carlos had the answers. Our trip took us to beautiful Tortuguero, Arenal, Monte Verde, the Capital City of San Jose, and many other great destinations. We definitely had the "Authentic Costa Rican" experience. Great trip

I traveled with my mom to Costa Rica and toured with Carlos and one other traveler. Carlos was incredibly knowledgeable about absolutely all things Costa Rica from the flora and fauna to the history and culture. He’s very educated and speaks excellent although sometimes humorous English. He’s really friendly and a very smart guy. You feel totally safe with him. My mom and I both had a great tour. We were very sad he had another tour and could not stay with us for our entire trip. Highly recommended! -San Francisco
