Alejandro was the naturalist for our Tauck World Discover tour group on a Costa Rica trip in March 2016 and he was WONDERFUL!  He patiently answered my hundreds of questions about the plants, animals, birds, and bugs of Costa Rica, and was thoroughly versed in both the natural and political history of the country.  His English is PERFECT and his command of idioms, slang, and humor is admirable.  He made our trip so enjoyable that I can't imagine doing such a trip without a naturalist.  I give him my STRONGEST possible recommendation!
