Dimitru was a great tour guide.  We visited Moldova as a portion of a  'bucket list' private tour of Romania and Moldova.  One of the couple is a Romanian ex-pat who was unable to visit most Moldova and most parts of Romania  prior to her emigration to America.  Dimitru's tour included most of Moldova since we started this tour included transport from Iasa, Romania, to Chisinau, Moldova and  and then to Bucharest, Romania.  He provided a great insight into the history of the country. We visited most of the important historical sites in the country.   I found the commonality of Moldova and Romania (e.g. Stefan cel Mare - Stefan the Great) most interesting.  This is not too surprising given the fact the Moldova was part of Romania from 1850 until 1945.  We found his command of English and  Romanian to be very good.   This made it very helpful since on of us is not fluent in Romanian.    We highly recommend Dimtru for anyone wishing to visit Moldova.    

I did 2 day tours with Dumitru - one to Tiraspol and the other to the Milesti Mici winery, Trebujeni and Orheiul Vechi. Both tours were well organised and went smoothly. I enjoyed both days and would use Dumitru again if I visit Moldova another time.

We were extremely impressed with Domitru and highly recommend him.  He is very knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and kind. We greatly enjoyed our time with him and will have wonderful memories because of him. He has the perfect personality and style for being an outstanding guide. We consider him to be a special friend also.

Dumitru was the perfect host and guide for this wonderful country. From initial planning to the actual trip, the process was easy and flawless. Dumitru suggested an itinerary, we changed it to meet our desires, no problem. Even while in Moldova, if there were things we wanted to see or do, if it was possible, we were able to do them. 

Dumitru speaks good English, knows his country (and others too), he made sure we were happy and helped us on other aspects of our journey after we left Moldova.

I cannot recommend Dumitru Boage and Moldova enough. Don't expect luxury, but expect friendliness, enlightenment and a wonderful experience! You will see and learn things you never expected!
