Our guide Santosh was just wonderful. Very friendly, very knowledgeble about the sights & local culture and definitely most helpful. He's always wearing a smile on his face and going out of his way to make sure of our group's well-being. As the itinerary was drawn up together with Santosh to meet our group's requirements, it went very smoothly. A great guide and highly recommended!

This was our first trip to Nepal and it could've not turned out better!

Santosh helped us organized the perfect itinerary for our 15-day trip. We did a 2-day Kathmandu city tour with Kumar, as well as, a day trip to Lumbini. Kumar was very knowledgeable. Then, we headed off to EBC with Shraban (aka Saran) and Gonga. They both made our trip great, always making sure we were comfortable. Shraban, our EBC guide, was very responsible and you could tell he knew the trek very well. On our way back to KTM, our flight was delayed due to weather but they figured it all out for us. We felt safe and taken care of at all times. Shraban is great company! We definitely thought we had the best guide and porter compared to everyone else. To finalize our Nepal experience, Santosh took us for a walk to the local market and a traditional dinner. 

We will definitely be back in a couple of years to explore other parts of Nepal with The Nepal Trekking Company!

We wanted a unforgettable family trip and targeted a trek in Nepal. After some research on Trip Advisor, we started talking to Santosh to start planning. He was very responsive to questions and we put together an itinerary that fit he time we had available. Once in Kathmandu Santosh took care of all of the lodging and transportation plans. Our guide, Saran, was unbelieveable. Very friendly, helpful, and informative. The tea houses selected met our expectations, and the trek was taken at our pace. Our two porters were also very nice and helpful. During each meal they provided fresh fruit for us to enjoy. I would highly recommend using this company to set up your Trek.

We trekked to ABC and it was an amazing experience because of the detail of service and professionalism of Santoosh, Soren and Gonga! From the moment we landed we were treated to exceptional service. We were greeted at the airport and taken to our hotel - where we had a meeting about the details of our trek. Everything was so organized! 

On our travels to Pokhara the bus journey took longer than expected, but Soren made sure we were ok and to keep us informed of what was going on. He showed us around Pokhara and took us to a wonderful restaurant for Dal Baat. 

The trek itself was remarkable. Soren was patient, funny, flexible and fun! He has a great sense of humor and made sure that we were taken care of the whole time! We changed our itinerary on the trek and he was so flexible and willing to do what we wanted. We decided to fly back to Pokhara and he arranged everything for us! 

What stands out about this company is the details --- our guide sat down with us and talked with us on the trek and in the evenings. I saw other guides just leave their trekkers alone and not interact with them. Santoosh came to our hotel room the night before we left to ensure we had a great trip. 

After our trek I stayed on in Nepal to volunteer Santoosh made sure I was taken care of, called the NGO and made arrangements for me to get where I needed. He did not have to do that. They truly go above and beyond what is expected. 

Both Santoosh and Soren answered any questions we had, taught us about the culture and generally cared about our experience. Santoosh is great about communicating!! He will answer your emails quickly and is available at all times in country! 

I cannot say enough great things ... this IS the company to go with!!
