It was my first visit to India and Balwinder was the first person I came in contact to on exiting the airport. As arranged he was there bang on time with cool AC car. For two days he guided me around Amritsar showing me all the major sights and markets in the city but also further afield. We also went to the famous Wagah border ceremony which was amazing. I informed him that I was very interested in the local cuisine and he took me to some great places to eat. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. On a recent tour to Amritsar, I used the services of Balwinder Singh and found him to be an exceptional guide and now a friend!  I communicated with him in advance of what I hoped to see and photograph and he arranged everything in perfect order.  He alerted me a few days prior to arriving into Amritsar that India was experiencing a critical money situation (500 and 1000 rupees no longer being accepted), and how best to deal with that.   He also provided airport pickup.  He was continually making sure our travels were safe on the road, with the food, with bathroom facilities, etc. Balwinder was also very knowledgeable about all we were seeing.  As a photographer, he was willing to stop wherever we traveled and helped make connections with the locals so I could take photos.  We visited the Golden Temple on a holiday so it was very crowded, but he did a superb job of helping me navigate the throngs of people.

Thanks for everything Balwinder. He organized almost everything for me in advance of our tour and helped with if there was a problem. Everything went well. He also explained me the meanings behind the festivals in India if one took place druing the time we were in contact before the tour. Once we started the tour he took me around to show me as much as possible in the very little time I had in Chandigarh. We went to museums, gardens and temples. It was very interesting.

I would recommend Balwinder as a tour guide, he was very good!

Thanks a lot to Balwinder, I congratulated myself for the decision to hire a guide, and I would advise fellow travelers to do so as well, especially if time is limited (only one full day in my case), and want to make the best of it. Balwinder support was really worthwhile, I have really appreciated the historical references to the place we visited, the temple most of all. Thanks again!
