We will always remember Chinthaka. During our three week holiday, he was a punctual, courteous, efficient and hugely resourceful fellow who ultimately became a good friend.

I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants the best of guiding in this extraordinary and still beautiful country.

We spent an action packed 12 days exploring a circular route of Sri Lanka from Colombo clockwise up through Tea Plantaion of Hatton, Safari's, coastal Fishing Villages, and the Fort at Galle. Chinthaka was our Driver/Tour Guide/Interpreter/Concierge/You Name It! What a pleasure to have Chinthaka with us the entire trip to add stories, history, humor,  and field all our questions about Sri Lankan people, food, culture and history. 

Whatever we asked for or needed Chinthaka was willing to accomodate. While we had a defined route with defined activities, Chinthaka added a few side visits to local gems not on our itinerary and also accomodated some shopping needs we developed along the way. If you need a guide in Sri Lanka I highly recommend Chinthaka! He's probably the safest driver we've ever had. A funny note about him was him pointing out all the places "Lovers" go to hang out....Ha!

Please find below our feedback regarding our fantastic holiday we’ve spent in Sri Lanka between Dec. 2014 and Jan. 2015.

We were very lucky to meet an experienced guide/driver.

We have appreciated to have not only native on our side, but also

a great connoisseur who has brought to us closer all important facts and figures about country and people in a nice way.

The punctuality, that loyalty, the attention, the almost natural helpfulness during our approx. 3 week trip was for us always present and extremely pleasant.

In particular the detailed knowledge about the history and geography of Sri Lanka were admirable for us, as well as the interesting information about religion and daily life.

With good grace we’re thinking back to the time together.

We are sure that if we are planning a longer stay in Sri Lanka again,

you're our first address.

Chinthaka was a wonderful guide and chauffeur for our recent 8 day trip around Sri Lanka. This was our second trip to Sri Lanka and we chose to restrict ourselves to Yala and the Hill country on this occasion. Sri Lankan traffic and roads can be challenging to visitors - yet we felt totally relaxed with his cautious and safe driving. He has an immense knowledge of all things Sri Lankan - historical, cultural, religious and natural. This really helped our experience beyond expectations. Our plans had really only encompassed beach, sunshine and several safari's in Yala for photography and then enjoying the scenery of the tea plantations and hill country - yet with his input we have come away with a wonderful appreciation of Sri Lanka and the many things that make up this exciting country to visit. Chinthaka also has excellent contacts with others in the industry - with the guide he used in Yala as an example. Between the 2 of them we had brilliant views of leopards on 3 separate occasions - which was the main purpose of our visit. With his humour and excellent English he also proved quite a conversationalist - which made time pass quickly during the driving which we both enjoyed. For our next trip we would plan contacting him directly to arrange an itinerary - as this would clearly be far more efficient than numerous hours on the internet which I have undertaken prior to this and also our previous visit in August 2015.
