Our experience with Jordan Artist Tour was nothing short of magical. Jordan Artist Tours  facilitated a visit to Petra, a sunset in Wadi Rum, and a sunrise breakfast in the sand dunes,all during a 47 hour stop in Jordan on our way to Turkey.

Not typical when you visit the site of Petra BUT with the help of our excellent guide Mahmoud we managed to do this tour! Difficulty: moderate! You see all the interesting plaes on the Petra-site (exception for the High Place of Sacrifice).

Duration: 4 hours

Tip: take a taxi to Little Petra (15 JOD) and from there a jeep to the entry of the 'back door route' (5 JOD / person).

I booked a trip with Jordan artists, and had good commincations with them from the outset. They were able to tailor our trip to exactly meet our requiremetnts and were even flexible enough to accommodate changes during the trip.  We also visited their office in Petra where the team were very keen to hear any feedback we had, something I found both impressive and highly professional.  All accommodation, meals (half board) and inclusive guides, were good or excellent, we felt we got excellent value for money.  Our driver was a superb ambassador for both Jordan Artists and Jordan as a whole who could not have been any more accommodating. His advice and flexibility really made the holiday a success, and very memorable. He also managed to get the balance absolutley right between being available and also giving us our own space. I would highly recommend Jordan Artrists to anyone looking for an introduction to Jordan.

I booked with Jordan Artist Tours my trip to Petra and Wadi Rum after reviewing all my options and getting respective offers. I concluded that they offered the best deal and to my surprise they proved as good as they seemed through the Internet.

Within our 2day trip we had contact with Hussam, Nayef and Hamza.

Nayef a great and conversational driver picked us up from Amman and drove us all the way through to Petra (and back) making our trip very smooth and interesting providing us with interest facts about Jordan (life, culture etc.).  Very talkative and friendly person.

Hussam, was our guide in Petra. In all a great guide with excellent knowledge of the history of Petra, very talkative and happy to provide answers to all our questions. He gave us a very detailed 3-hour tour in Petra.

Lastly Hamza, was our driver through Wadi Rum, another great driver who knew the desert like the palm of his hand. He was not that much talkative as the others, but always happy to answer to all questions.

Our communication with the agency was very smooth, all employees were very fluent with English  and we had noproblem in our communication with them.

The only negative (sort of) point that I could point out was that we could re-visit Petra for another 2 hours in our last day there, given that we had a valid pass and we were within our time-frame agreed. However, they recommended that we would not have enough time to get back. In the end we got about 2.5hours earlier in Amman than the originally agreed, therefore we could have gone ahead with our suggestion.

In any case that was a small hiccup to our overall experience that cannot decrease my 5 star review!! I would certainly recommend Jordan Artist Tours to anyone for a great and safe experience in Jordan.
