Roberto is an extremely friendly and informative guide. He made the whole experience visiting Herculaneum fascinating for both myself and my 17 year old son.

Thanks to the great reviews here, my friends and I booked Roberto for our day at Pompeii. I was a treat to be led through Pompeii's ancient streets by him - he has a vast resource of info at his fingertips! Added to that was a sincerity with which he showed us all the relics left behind - adding context to information, weaving historical data.... we were left with a lot of awe for Pompeii and its people. We did only a half-day tour, but I would happily go back to Pompeii for a longer visit next time.

As an American tour operator that runs small-group tours all over the world I was looking for a local tour guide for a couple of days for my tour group of 15 travelers. Roberto was our guide for a full day in Capri and a full day in Ravello & Amalfi. Although his area of specialty is archeology, Roberto proved to have very good general knowledge for these locations. I think we made a great team -- him as the local guide doing the commentary and me as the tour manager heandling all the logistics. Roberto has an easy-going, charming manner and makes for a pleasant and informative guide.

I have never expected the guide to be that smart and charming the same time. But Roberto did his best and impressed me with his knowledges and excellent sense of humor!  I'm that kind of picky tourist who asks a lot of questions, because im in love with Italian history, to my surprise, Roberto got the answers to all my questions!  The tour to Amalfi coast was unforgettable, he even showed us the "secret place", where you can enjoy the whole panorama view of the Amalfi coast from the top, especially it looks stunning during the night. Roberto is fun and operate perfectly with English names! Being honest, I couldn't resist to fall in love with his Italian accent. Bravo Roberto! Complimenti from Anastasia.

Roberto was guide for our tour of Pompeii when me and my friends visited Italy in May 2017.  We opted to do the tour with him after reading great reviews on TOURHQ. We drove from Sorrento to Pompeii on our way to Mt. Vesuvius and spent 3 hours with him in Pompeii. Roberto is knowledgeable and an engaging speaker. While he is modest about his academic qualifications( he is archeologist and tour guide by profession) , his explanation of minutes details about the grand city and the unfortunate Volanic eruption transported us back to the times when the city was a bustling centre of trade in the mediterranean region.
