Hamza wa a wonderful guide. He was punctual, and had an extremely comfortable car/van. He had an excellent knowledge of  Zanzibar history. He answered all our questions. The tour od Stone town was informative and enjoyable. He was patient and helpful with our shopping demands.  I would highly recommend him to anyone spending time in Zanzibar.

Our group of ten Americans visited Stone Town in mid February 2016.  We contacted Hamza Mzee by email beforehand and asked him to meet us at our hotel.  He arrived promptly and explained what he had in mind and how long it would take.  We learned so much and had a wonderful time.  Hamza kept track of us all and helped us find the things we were interested in without being hassled by shopkeepers and people on the street.  We never could have covered that much ground or learned as much on our own.  I would highly recommend him as a walking tour guide.

Hamza was a fantastic guide for me and my daughter during our stay on Zanzibar!  He took us on several tours, including a tour of Stone Town (he gave great explanations of Zanzibar's history and culture), a plantation tour (he is a great source of information on all of the plants and spices and arranged for a lovely lunch of spiced rice for us!), a boat ride out to nearby Prison Island (now populated with large tortoises), and a trip to see the Red Colobus monkeys!  He added extra tours and services at our request and went out of his way to be very accommodating.  I would recommend Hamza highly and in fact will book again with him in the future if I ever have the chance! Hamza was our guide to the wonderful island of Zanzibar. I cannot say enough about Hamza. He is a charming, intelligent, well-informed, helpful, hard-working young man who was there when we needed him, but left us to ourselves when we wanted to explore on our own. I feel we got to know Hamza personally in the short time we were there, and he has kept in touch for all the months since we have returned to the States. I highly recommend him to be your guide to the fascinating island of Zanzibar!!
