My husband and I did a 5 day private safari with Toby in Kruger for our 25th wedding anniversary and it could not have been a better choice.  Toby was not only a knowedgeable guide with information on every bird and animal that we saw but he was also an incredibly gracious host.  His passion for the environment and his sensitivity to the human impact on it was clearly evident.  We saw lions feeding everyday and every animal that we anticipated seeing as well as birds, amphibians and reptiles.  My favourite were the baby elephants....I could watch them all day long!  This was my second safari with Toby and as soon as we can we will be planning our third!  I would highly recommend Toby to anyone wanting a high quality, safe and informative safari!

Toby was our guide on a 12 day private safari in Namibia this year. Toby's knowledge and expertise  made our safari an amazing experience. His ability to spot  an array of wildlife and photo opportunities was neverending and we saw a lot of wildlife which we wouldn't have seen had we not had Toby as our guide. He delt with all aspects of our trip from planning to making sure the trip ran smoothly and we never had any problems with accomodation , meals or transport. His knowledge of Namibia  and all it's wildlife was impressive and he MADE our trip a truly memorable experience. His interpersonal skills made him a friendly and caring guide  who i would happily use again on any future safaris in Africa. I cannot recommend Toby highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful safari.

Toby Esplin's knowledge and understanding of not only the wildlife but the environment is exceptional. He has the ability to see the smallest sign of something and makes it completely interesting to you. We had many a tour car drive swiftly by and I felt sorry for those tourists who were missing the important little details that made our trip so fascinating and gave us a much broader understanding of the birdlife, wildlife and environment we were in. With such passion and love for this beautiful country Toby managed to make this the experience of a lifetime for us. i have to say that my recent safari experience has left me with a longing to return to Africa. Thanks to the wonderful guiding skills of my tour guide Toby Esplin. Right from day one being collected at Tambo Airport in Johannesburg , we felt like we were in good hands. Toby's commentary on the 4 hour trip down to his private game farm, showed not only his knowledge of the area he has chosen to call home, but his passion for wanting everyone to experience this beautiful country and all it has to offer. During our 10 day visit, we had sightings of the majority of animals as well as " The big 5" We visited Kruger National Park, Mocala, Golden Gate National Park as well as having. Cheetah and Elephant experience. My camera never stopped and Toby's spotting abilities are second to none. I highly recommend Toby to anyone who wants a life changing African experience .
