Our local guide Bia made this journey exceptional - the trip was well Organized to include all the highlights but also operated at a pace which suited our group perfectly

We had a great day in Cape Verde in with thanks to Edson and his excellent guide Bia. Our group of 16 visiting from the cruise ship Sirena had a great introduction to the island first in the city and then across the island with seaside beaches and even a mountain top viee

Our communication with him was via email in English. From Belgium we prepared our trip to the island of Santo Antão in Cape Verde and proposed this to Edson.

Based on our suggestions and questions, he booked the necessary accommodations and all meals (breakfast, picnic and dinner). In addition, he took care of all luggage transport, as well as our transport to the starting point, or from the end point of our walks to the lodging.

He provided a private driver for this. We also have only positive words for this driver, Orlando. Orlando was friendly and punctual, an experienced driver who took us everywhere safely. Orlando spoke enough French to explain to us interesting facts about the island and its people.

We had daily contact with Edson by e-mail, even though he was staying in Germany at the time. Every day he followed up on our adventures.

Also during our stay, both Edson and Orlando were extremely flexible to customize hikes, as well as required transportation and accommodations.

We always had the feeling that both wanted us to experience the best possible stay on their home island of Santo Antão in Cape Verde, and this at a very reasonable price.

It is only because of all their dedication and commitment that we have the most beautiful memories of Santo Antão!
