Andrew was our driver and guide for a 2 week tour of Sri Lanka taking in a number of different destinations and experiences. 

We were a family of four with two young children. Andrew's warmth and enthusiasm shone through from the moment that he greeted us at the airport and he was a fantastic guide. Andrew is very focussed on making sure that things run smoothly and nothing was too much trouble - all of our requests were greeted with "no problem"!

Andrew was very knowledgeable about the sights and attractions that we visited and he also made a lot of suggestions and put in extra efforts and touches to ensure that we got the most out of our visit. He was well connected with local guides and fixers to ensure that things always went smoothly and the best ways to include additional highlights that were not part of the original itineary. Our children loved Andrew and he made sure that they had a great time and answered thousands of questions that they posed along the way. 

Andrew himself was definitely a highlight of the tour along with the friendly and welcoming people of Sri Lanka. We would highly recommend Andrew as a guide and driver and hope to return to Sri Lanka at some point in the future to see some of the places that we were not able to fit in on our first visit. 

We reserved transport-only for a self-designed whirlwind 3-day tour, and Andrew Noyahr was assigned as our driver. Andrew was just fabulous, can't praise him highly enough. We visited Dambulla Caves, Wilpattu National Park, Anuradhapura, Minneriya National Park, Sigiriya Rock, and Polonnaruwa; everything was flawless. Although Andrew was meant to be a driver only, his English was excellent and he provided plenty of guide-like information. He also suggested one out-of-the-way lunch place that was just terrific (Priyamali Gedara near Polonnaruwa, reviewed separately), but he was not at all pushy. We would use Andrew again in a heartbeat, and we recommend him highly to anyone needing a driver while visiting Sri Lanka.

My family and I met Andrew when we booked to go to the Kosgoda sea turtle conservation centre through Viatour, from the outset he was warm, accommodating and full of knowledge. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble, and he adapted the trip to adhere to our wants and needs. 

He is also an exceptional driver, especially because Sri Lanka has some chaotic roads. Following this trip we asked Andrew if he would be our guide for 3 days around Kandy. 

He was able to take us to many interesting stops en route to our destinations, which nicely broke up what otherwise would have been tedious journeys (upwards of 4 hours one way). I can't recommend Andrew enough if you are thinking of travelling to Sri Lanka. 

This was our first tour with a Driver/ Guide of our own so we had been unsure how this will work and how it would be spending our time with just one other person for 8 days.

Already the tour planning was quick and easy – so Andrew gave us some good advices in advance on how to set up everything to make the most of our trip.

It was a pleasure to meet Andrew personally and from the very fist moment he was warm, courteous and friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he looked after us wonderfully well. He always starts the day with a laugh, sought to find out what we would like and organises everything in the best way.

Also he is very good driver – we always felt safe and in good hands with Andrew.

Along the tour he gave us much interesting information on the Sri Lankan way of life as well as on places we were passing through. Also he accompanied our sightseeing’s and walks what we really enjoyed.

So the time we spend with him was most enjoyable. He was very friendly, good company and a very knowledgeable tour guide. We would have absolutely no reservations about recommending Andrew.

I can unequivocally say that the absolute highlight of our entire Sri Lankan holiday was Andrew himself. 

So warm and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.  An excellent driver and guide, we always felt safe and well cared for in his hands. There seems to be nothing he doesn not know about Sri Lanka, and there is almost nothing he won't do to make your stay memorable and comfortable. "No Problem!" is his personal mantra. He has spent a lifetime mastering the "Art of Delighting"  as he puts it.  

He willingly joined us at our insistence for nearly every meal and every activity that was practicable. He was delightful company. Helpful, informative and funny. He (and his family) are so warm and wonderful, and he is of course an outstanding guide. Your enjoyment and happiness is his greatest reward. 

I have actually urged friends planning to visit Sri Lanka to alter their dates to fit Andrew's schedule if necessary as he will simply make it that much more special than it already is. 

We love him and are honoured to consider him a friend (and we stay in contact to this day).
