An awesome night in the desert!

We had a great night at a perfect place in the desert!

Not only food and location was perfect, Masoud is a great guy with huge knowledge of nature, culture and  astronomy! His guidance about stars, our galxy, our solar system and even basic astrophysics were exeptional and improved my understanding about our starry sky and sun/moon a lot!

Thanks for all!

Great guide

Reviewed October 29, 2017

This was my first trip to Iran, and I was as a part of a group of 14 people. The whole trip was a great experience and having Masoud as a guide helped not only to cover a lot of ground in terms of places and history, but also to get a glimpse of everyday life of Iranian people from city dwellers in Teheran, Isfahan and Yazd, to mountain villagers in Alborz to nomads in Zagorz mountains.

Masoud is a natural problem solver with the excellent network of local guides and drivers. I valued his insights about the life of Iranian people and complexities of the past and the present.

Tip: visit Farvardin in Fahraj. Our initial plan was to stay one night at Farvardin, but we returned to Fahraj for one more night and enjoyed relaxed atmosphere, great food and hospitality of Masoud and his family/team.

Magnificant Desert

Doing the very varied Evening Desert Tour together with Masoud and a great group were really fun.

Masoud knows best how to enjoy the different aspects of the desert and is a fantastic storyteller

while sitting on the camping fire preparing delicous dinner under the starlit desert sky.

Iran travel

All I can say is, that Masoud is a man of thousand talents. He speaks excellent english, he sings and play to us Iranian folk music, he sings pray in mosque, he is very good cook, he explains us the meaning of the name Allah in calligraphy.

Not to mention that he is good companion and he discuss about almost everything we want to know.

And because he sold pistachios as a young man, he negotiated with bazaar shoppers on our behalf ...

All in all, a man with thousand talents ...
