Canyons adventure in south-western Iran

Reviewed January 8, 2017

I have been to Iran twice, but the trip with Masoud to south-western canyonlands are one of my most cherished memories. The canyons landscape is stunning, and it is an area virtually unknown to tourists - both foreign and Iranian - so it really felt like a proper adventure. Moreover, Masoud is fun and communicative, a great companion, and he is willing to discuss anything from Iranian history to Game of Thrones show. Top tip: ask Masoud to barbecue his famous lemon chicken when camping on the lake island, and to sing or play some Iranian music for you ;-)

Awesome outdoor adventures

Reviewed January 7, 2017

Two trips with Masoud; one overnight in the desert near Farhaj and a three days camping trip to Hormoz and Qeshm Island. Both trips had overnight stayscountry anthe starlight and Masoud knew some special remote places to visit. He also cooked some of his excellent food on camping fires, and gave simple trips a twist of luxury.

Masoud speaks English on a level way higher than anyone else I have met in Iran. He is very knowlegdeable and full of amazing stories about both the country and his own life. I would very much recommend him as a guide and recommend the trips he organises.

Excellent Guide with Perfect English

Reviewed December 6, 2014

I spent seven days with Masoud. Together we visited the highlights of Shiraz Yazd and Isfahan and he gave me useful information about Iran history and culture. He knows how to organize the trip time efficiently and is reach with travel experience himself. He help me arrange my tickets for the rest of my journey and put me in touch with his friends in Mashhad where was my next place to visit. What made my trip was the experience in his lovely guest house near Yazd and the trip to the desert which is in a short distance from his inn. His English was by far the best I experienced while my visit in Iran and he can share with you his thoughtful opinions about any question you might have concerning your travel in Iran. He allowed me to use his kitchen to make my own food which is a blessing after having eaten too many kebabs in every restaurant and in the desert he cooked some veggie dish consisting of simple ingredients but quite tasty.
