I recently did a 5 day jungle trek with Demion the absolute legend! We did a survival tour, so we had to catch our food daily. He showed me how to catch a variety of fish in the river using traditional methods he learnt growing up, we even caught some fish with a spear!  We also went and caught caimans by night which was an experience ill never forget.

Demion taught me how to identify a wide variety of edible fruits in the jungle, i was climbing up trees and fetching some amazing and delicous fruits unique to the amazon.

Demions knowledge of the jungle is astounding,  hes like a jungle encyclopedia.  He also introduced me to some small comunitys along the river of which he has a strong relationship, to be welcomed in with such open arms into these amazing little communitys was a really unique experience. After the 5 days sleeping in hammocks and living off the land i found a true friend in Demion, hes an all round great guy with a massive heart. Damien is an excellent guide. We spent 3 days with him in Manaus. First in a hotel on the borders of the Amazon. He took us to the jungle, showed us a Manioc factory, introduced us to fishing with just a reed, showed us how to catch a baby crocodile in the middle of the night. Then in Manaus where we visited a market, then rented a boat to visit an old rubber factory, meet natives in a typical village and finally swim with pink dolphins. Damien was very protective, very professional and of a remarkable kindness. In reviewing the photos of this trip, I often think of him and keep these days, one of the best memories of my 3 weeks trip to Brazil.

My partner and I went to the Amazon in 2012 and Demion was our guide. He was amazing and showed us all what was possible in 4 days. His knowledge is about the Amazon and the animals is huge. I would anytime recommand Demion Crosa.

We were a group of three people and made a awesome 5 days Trip with demion. When we arrived in manaus demion met us, Show us the City and we Could buy the missing stuff like Flash lights, right shoes, Sun creme, etc. While the five days we sleeped two nights in the jungle and two at a local family. The family was really friendly and cared of us. At the days we made some activities like hiking, canoing, fishing and kaiman spotting. The guide always tried to care for us and ask us If everything was missing. At the end....a awesome trip, that i will never forget. It was exhausting but worth it.
