With this tour I have discovered the Real Rome. Really suggested!

I'm really happy you asked for my opinion because I was going to send a review anyway, it was such a great experience. Testaccio con gusto is a fantastic tour...mixing archaeological sites (beautiful but almost completely unknown to most tourists who only visit the main sites), with an anthropological view of a working class neighborhood in Rome. And then there's the wonderful experience of eating in a typical Roman restaurant (osteria) ... such incredibly good Roman fare. The tour was great and the guides (two young Roman archaeologists) were excellent ... very knowledgeable and always trying to put everyone in the group at ease. The tour was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend it to everyone visiting Rome!

Amazing experience discovering the real Rome. Excellent guide, we explored areas and monuments we never would have found on our own. Highly recommended!
