Annapurna Base Camp

Reviewed November 13, 2018

A very nice trekking until ABC (Annapurna based camp)! We did this with a very professional guide: Mr Santosh Dhakal. We've seen a beautiful landscape and also the top of Annapurna mountain! We were very lucky cause in July and August it's very difficult to see it.

Amazing sunrise and great hiking experience with guide Santosh

Reviewed November 13, 2018

I had an opportunity to see beautiful sunrise with the mountains in the background. After deliciouse breakfast in a nice hotel I had an awesome time during hiking. Mostly way was easy to go so I could rest from crowded Kathmandu, admire views, see how people live in small vilages. Santosh is great guide, thanks to nice conversation with him I broadened my knowledge about Nepal's culture. I really recommend this trip!!!

Kathmandu Day Tour

Reviewed November 12, 2018

I am a lady with a hip problem and Santosh, our guide for the day, couldn't have been more helpful and went out of his way to make the day enjoyable, taking us wherever we wanted to go - and he has the patience of Job! Govinda, our driver was friendly and equally helpful - both Neeraj and Govinda were good company and I can't recommend them highly enough. If you are lucky enough to to have them as your guide and driver, you'll have a good day.

Everest Base camp

Reviewed November 11, 2018

I had never trekked in my life & when I decided to pursue this trekking hobby, I started it by doing Everest base camp coupled with Kala Patthar . All you need is average good fitness level & mental strength to be able to finish this tough trek with lot of fun. The fact that I did it as a beginner is a good enough reason for you to take this plunge although with structured preparation over 2-3 months.

The EBC trek is spread over 11 nights ( 14 nights if you chose the Gokyo Ri route) 2 nights for acclimatisation at higher up in the valley. The route is picturesque on all days with breath taking views of the majestic mountains with lot of flora & fauna at lower altitudes. The route has many suspension bridges & this adds a lot of charm to the route. The tree houses enroute are good for a night over with limited food options & just about average/below average hygiene in wash areas. Sheras & local people are soft spoken , simple & so hospitable . T his makes life much easier .

once you finish Everest Base Camp, the tendency of most people is to relax & not do Kala Patthar but the real spectacle unfolds when you summit Kala Patthar . The views are simply awesome & out of this world.

The return journey is tough with one covering almost 65 kms of descent in three days flat.

All in all , its an experience of a lifetime in the lap of himalayas !! & I am already longing for more.

Thanks you very much santosh for your kindly help.

Nepal Round Trip - Excellent

Reviewed November 11, 2018

I cannot rate Santosh Dhakal highly enough!

Our trip covered Kathmandu, Chitwan, Lumbini, Pokhara and a 2 day hike in the Kathmandu Valley (Nagarkot), and he had personalised it to take into account what we had already seen and what we particularly wanted to do.

We had a good driver (once you get used to the way of driving in Nepal you realise just how good he is) and good guides at every stop. We felt entirely confident and safe in Santosh's hands. He kept in contact with us throughout the trip, and his choice of hotel accommodation was fantastic.

Highly Highly recommended!
