We have a 6 day safari tour, and Richard was a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about all the animals, and their behaviors. On his tour, we saw EVERYTHING, and we never had a dull moment throughout the safari. Richard also knows everybody and he is very friendly. If there is another siting somewhere else, other guides will let Richard know. Our favorite day was when Richard took us into the Ngorongoro crater early in the morning to see the rhinos. I highly recommend Richard for your safari!

We went on a 5 day safari to Taragire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro with Richard as our guide for our honeymoon and had the most incredible experience. 

Richard has an extensive knowledge of every park that we visited and where the animals tend to congregate during each season. We were able to see all of the big 5 (including 3 rhinos which are super difficult to find this time of year!), plus a few cheetahs and some amazing scenes of the Great Migration where we must have seen over 2 million migrating animals (we were told this is pretty rare). Richard clearly has a lot of experience working with the other guides and was able to quickly tell whether what other guides were seeing was worth driving to or whether it would be too crowded or far away. 

I think our biggest surprise of the trip was how much we learned. Richard was able to not only identify every animal that we saw (as well as their mating and hunting habits), he even knew every bird, flower and tree type as well! He was even able to provide insightful responses to a lot of our non-safari related questions about Tanzania and the Maasai tribes. 

Overall we couldn't recommend Richard enough, he was very kind, profressional, punctual, and humorous. Thank you Richard for an unforgettable honeymoon! 

Richard Peter is an experiened and patient guide who answered all our questions about the wildlife and culture of Tanzania.  We managed to see UP CLOSE 3 out of the 'Big 5'  African animals in 2 days. We spotted the other 2 using  binoculars provided by Richard (nice touch).  It was because of Richard's  experience that we were lucky enough to see the Rhino and Leopard. 

Richard is very accommodating and knowledgable. 

Since my wife likes to shop, he  drove us to one of the new markets where she was very happy with her purchases. 

I highly recommend Richard Peter if  you are looking for someone who is experienced, patient, accommodating, and

knowledgable. Make sure you ask Richard about his most memorable safari experience. I think you will find it fascinating! 

My wife and I booked our 4-Day Safari with Good Earth Tours & Safaris, and we were very fortunate to have Richard as our guide and driver. Not only was he punctual, but he was friendly, knowledgeable, and always accomodating. We saw Tarangire National Park on day 1, Serengeti National Park on days 2 and 3 and Ngorongoro Crater on day 4.

Richard was a fantastic guide that knew every animal we saw and had a book with pictures to reference on our safari. He also had a great eye and spotted animals from very far away, an ability that is very valuable on these expeditions. Whenever we had a question, he always knew the answer.

Richard was also a safe driver and told us about the towns and places we drove through on our way to the safari parks, a nice addition to our trip. If we wanted to stop somewhere or take a picture of something, he obliged without hestistation.

We highly recommend Richard as your tour guide for your next safari! We saw so many animals (even super rare ones like leopards, cheetahs, and servals) and was more than satisfied with him and his overall professionalism. When we come back for the wet season tour, we're definitely requesting Richard again!

Richard gave us and our two boys (age 13 -17y) a fantastic experince in Tarangeri, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. 

Richard is a warm, friendly and helpfull person. He knows all good spots in the parks, he could spot an animal in a long distance. Richard knows a lot about the animals, and is very good to tell about the animals. He is also good to tell about the living in Tanzania, the people of Tanzania and the country. 

From the first minut Richard picked us up in Arusha we felt safe and in a very good company.

Richard is also a very good and safe driver. We felt never uncomfortable with him behind the wheel.

We can highly recomend Richard Peter as your Guide and driver in Tanzania - you can´t find a better and a more friedly Guide. He also speaks a very good English.
