Sophak Touch

Reviewed July 6, 2016

Sophak was the best guide I could have asked for during my time in Cambodia. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure that I had everything that I needed to feel as comfortable as possible transitioning into the country. He was always available if I needed anything and answered any questions I or my group members had, no matter how confusing or uncomfortable they may have been. Sophak was a vital part of my trip, and I am so grateful to have met him.

Sophak Touch: Tour Guide and Friend

Reviewed June 20, 2016

Sophak Touch spent three weeks personally taking my group and I around Cambodia. He taught us the basics of the Khmer language and took us to several significant historical Cambodian sites. The spectacular thing about Sophak is his way of quickly becoming far more than just a tour guide. He became our friend. I could not have asked for a better person to teach me about a foreign culture. He is very smart, has a great sense of humor (which makes his tours all that more exciting), and his English is impeccible!

Great Tour Guide and Support

Reviewed November 9, 2014

Iphak Edwin (Sophak) was my Global Service Corps Program Director during my two-week service in Cambodia (late January-early February, 2014). Before my flight, Iphak secured my lodgings in Phnom Penh and, after I landed, he met me at the airport. During those first few days, Iphak directed and participated in tour activities mostly within the capital city. He also arranged to introduce me --and other GSC participants-- to language lessons in Khmai, eateries, and local shopping. Having difficulty in changing travelers checks into cash, Iphak was extraordinarily helpful to me by finding the one bank in Phnom Penh that could manage this transaction. Indeed, he went the 'extra mile' by accompanying me during this process. There are other examples of his support perhaps too numerous to state here but, in general, Iphak is a generous, cooperative, and reliable guide. Any traveler to Cambodia would be very fortunate to have him as a support.
