My tour of Bucharest with Daniela was fantastic! We spent hours walking the city, with lots of breaks sitting in scenic spots learning the history of each area and landmark. She connected the whole story of the city from Ancient Rome, through medieval times and Ottoman suzerainty, the world wars, and the communist years, to what the country had done with its freedom since 1989. She drew from personal experience and from stories of others to really bring home some of the points. Above all, Daniela was a pleasure to hang out with, and made me feel at home in her home (and I am indeed now convinced that the world would have been different if not for Bucharest). Thanks Daniela!

We decided to book a private tour to experience the city at our pace and learn about the history of the city of Bucharest. Daniela was a great guide in explaining everything from the beginning of the city's founding until the fall of communism, showing sites that are relevant in telling this timeline. I can highly recommend Daniela if you want to do a private tour of the city.

Daniela is extremely welcoming and friendly, and me and my friends were bowled over by her enthusiasm for her city, Bucharest. Daniela is very knowledgable and actually offers several types of tours - historical centre, Jewish history, Communist history - which helps give visitors a 360 degree overview of the history of both Bucharest and Romania in general. We were taken to a diverse range of locations throughout the tour, and it is clear that Daniela is well prepared, with documents and photos to show visitors. Her English is excellent. 

If you’re looking for a boutique elite tour guide this is the one. Historical, culture and special communist tours are guided by her in small groups and even privet free tours. With her official license and personal attitude, based in some cases on childhood memories, she mange to leave you with meaningful experience.I came back for the second time for different tour and probably return if I’ll visit Bucharest again. Highly recommended!!
